Happy Sunday- "Capture it"!

This is a bit of a Random post. Just of things that have happened the past while. Old pictures I've dug up and other fun things. 

I am also going to use this Opportunity to promote the first of my 2 demo songs: "Capture It".

Then, since this is also mainly a fashion blog, of course I have some of that to share with you as well!

I love love love doing my hair. Weather its curling it, or pulling it up, or braiding it. It just adds such a creative aspect to your style, and what you're wearing. It can make it look more fancy when you're wearing a pair of old jeans and a T-shirt, or putting on a plain but sexy dress. 

Secondly, nails are awesome. Don't ignore them. It is so fun to see people who's nails match their outfits, or have cool designs. Even if you need to rely on going to the store and getting some cool stick ons: Why not? Let your finger nails be bright and fun, dark and mysterious, or elegant and sexy. 

It can contribute so much to the style you're going for!

Shout Out! ...

To Scotty James!

I have a very special message that I would like to contribute today to my blog. I am well aware that I only have a small and limited amount of Readers, however any journey starts with one step. 

This, what I am talking about, is not my journey instead one of another up and coming Artist from Waterloo, Ontario in Canada, my hometown. I would love to promote his amazing self!

Until now he has brought one album, with a chart song "Wanna be Loved", which has been heard on the Radio in Canada.

Currently he is on a 99 day Challenge to win 1 million fans, since he is broke, has no producer or record label, and therefore cannot produce a new album.

Retail Therapy

So today, on a beautiful rainy sunday, I decided to add a new aspect to my blog; Retail.

I'm hoping to have many more post such as this one to contribute to my page:) Hopefully you all enjoy it and feel as inspired as I do:) 

 I didn't like how the sleeves fell on this shirt so I got rid of them. (:

I cut about 5cm away from the shirt's original hem. 

My goal was To fold it half way in, so that half of the cut sleeve was still showing. 

 

The next step shows this better. 

Whats left of the sleeve has been folded in half so that there is half still showing on the outside, while wearing. 

I then sowed a simple hem around the sleeves. 

What I was also aiming for were somewhat "cup" sleeves... Not too bad for first retail post...? 

This is then the final product:) What do you think?:)

Fashion Walk 

LOts and Lots of stuffage! 

Spring is here, summers coming! 

...And it just feels so good to be back! Back here where my mind can be at ease and immerse itself in creativity- Finally. 

Here is everything I've been able to squeeze in this last little while. A bit pathetic, i know. But I'm learning;) 

Solids! 

Welcome Spring!

Contrasting Solid colors is fun, especially in spring when the colors seem and feel a lot more vibrant! 

This dress is skin tight around the chest and waist, so it felt more appropriate with a loose light shirt over top, and of course there ALWAYs needs to be a belt;) 

Crochet sweater, light for spring days, with a soft color tank underneath and tucked into the skirt. Perfect for later in the day, when it gets a bit hotter. A belt is the perfect touch to pull the outfit together and show off some curves;) 

This look. 

This is for the chilly spring days. 

I love this little romper. I have uploaded it here before cause i feel there are so many seasons you can match it with:) However, what i think completes this outfit are the boots! These are my absolute FAVORITE shoes right now. Cute summer boots that really just lighten up the look! 

I know... its THE BOOTS again! 

I like this look, because of the sweater. Its a knit wear and very baggy and gets tight around the wrists. I put a loose short blouse on underneath to contrast to the "comfy" feeling. What i think would also look cute with this are hight waisted jeans, and it would pull the idea of the short blouse together more.

Back up and Running. 

Christmas is coming and spirits are high. (: Mine are at least! 

Do you also feel that way, that you're using all your energy up until the last breath, all the way up till the divide of the New year. It seems that everything goes down hill after that- And in a good way. In the sense that summer is soon coming and everything it brighter and happier, and the sun is warmer and brighter and shines longer. 

Still, it is December. The last few steps till the New Year. 

Things are getting brighter already, feeling warmer and excitement is bubbling inside of me! 

Haha- you might think thats weird, but i have so many thoughts and feelings and memories associated with this time of year, and even through all the "blips" that you may have had to over come in these past few months don't necessarily matter anymore.

ANYWAY- ENOUGH with the writing!!!

I am just gonna post all the pictures that i have taken these past few weeks, since i haven't had a second in my day to post or blog... Because i mean,  I'm not gonna just upload a pic! Writing is the fun part- sharing:)  Don't you agree? 

The "dress" is a cute little romper (forever 21). Then just throw on a long sleeved underneath, some leggings and cute fall boots. Possibly a jean jacket, because they're awesome(: 

And obviously, NEver leave the house with out a scarf;)

The Skirt is a tight one (urban behavior), and i never knew what to wear with it, because it warm for the fall/winter. Then i found this bright pink t-shirt and thought it was the perfect amount of color to add to a grey outfit. I put a light sweater with it then, mostly because i love the how it ties:) And then a dark scarf to pull it all together:) 

Since its been so long since i last blogged, I'm gonna share some stuffage with you guys(:

My recent obsessions;) hahaha: 

-PINTEREST!!!! (If you don't know it, get on it!! its a site where you have "boards" - cyber pin boards- and you can organize them under categories, find and re "Pin" pictures, and follow people! LOVE IT!) 

- NASHVILLE!!! (A new show on ABC- if you're interested in music (especially country music) this show is amazing! BUT still its just about life and people, so i think you should check it out no matter what) 

-SCARFS: to be honest, i think it's always been one, but i've only really come to realize it now:) 

-NAIL POLISH: right now i LOVE having pretty colors on my finger nails. I feel like it adds color when the weather is yucky and the snow is being stubborn. Also, its just happiness for your fingers ( other than RINGS- another one of my favorite things right now)

OKaayyy- i think thats quite enough for today. haha:)
